how compared to red wine? (As it contains sulfites most times..unless find an "organic" red wine?) is german beer..such as Becks probably the most pure way to get a buzz by drinking alcohol? why everyone thinks wine is the best?

My Nan used to make it all the time – she always had a glass of it on her mantelpiece and a barrel of it in her kitchen… You used to be able to buy the kits to make it from Boots the Chemist… whatever happened to all that?
