Dude! I am currently making mine. I now have to go back and redo my painting b/c I used that same poly in this vid (did it prior to watching this vid), and it yellowed my paint. My table is mainly white with decals and designs. I had to sand it down and am now redoing my painting. Have you ever had a problem with that Spar Urethane? I got some water-based urethane for this next try.
@cycronxt If you buy the oil based urethane it will yellow, but the water based does not. I have built 2 with oil and 2 with water. Def use the water based. But the water based does take more to get that really glossy finish that the oil leaves.
very well explained. do you have some of your finished products to show off? You can check some of my tables out at facebook.com /custombeerpong if ya have a sec. keep pongin!

@makatackify id recommend 3/4 if your using the foldable legs. 1/2 if your building a sturdy box for the sheet to lay on.
