I woke up this morning to find my India Pale Ale had clogged the airlock was rapidly building pressure within the primary fermenter. Apparently, I didn’t listen to the first “BrewFanatics Quick Video” about overfilling your fermenter. Anyway, I quickly removed the airlock to release the pressure and tons of fermentation excess began spewing out. I quickly cleaned the airlock and shoved the hose from my autosiphon into it to create a makeshift blowoff tube. Disaster averted!
